mixed course - wheel throwing and hand building techniques (small group - max 6 people)

Do you have some experience with clay and want to practice your skills? This 4+1 week course is a great way to undust your skills! And we offer a small group of max 6 participants - that means you get a lot of attention from us :) This course is for beginners.

Class Dates:

Course 1 - Wednesdays

6/01, 13/01, 20/01, 27/01 + glazing class on the 10/02

During this course you will practice the basics of wheel throwing and hand building (including glazing) and make up 4-6 items to later on take home with you. At the 5th session you will paint and glaze your pieces. We will fire the pieces for you. After a few weeks they will be ready to pick it up at our studio.

what's in it: 4x working session and 1x glazing session. Students decide what they want to work on and with which technique. You can switch during the class or between classes. We have 3 wheels and 3 tables available. The goal to practice your hand building and wheel throwing skills. Duration of each class is up to 2,5h.

we provide: all necessary materials (clay, colours, glazes), snacks and drinks, good atmosphere.

how to prepare: you need to have some basic pottery skills! we suggest keeping your nails short and leaving the jewelry at home for this one. A hair band might come in handy, too.

please note: cancellation is not possible, in case you can’t participate you can pass your spot to a friend.
