Making Shapes is a creative space in Amsterdam Noord for workshops, memberships, a store and studio hire. Meet the founders behind the studio.

Kameliya Markovska

Kameliya Markovska or Mahochaa is a ceramics artist that offers art pieces, as well as custom-made pieces. She is interested in finding ways in which clay can become alive in her classes and how it can teach you more than she can. Kameliya loves giving workshops and creating fun exercises for the participants. Currently, she is doing a MA in Education in Arts in Piet Zwart Institute.

She teaches ceramic, drawing and lino print, and some more experimental team-building workshops.

Nika Furman

Nika is behind NOMAD Floral Studio and NOMAD Clay Studio. She is a multi-talented creative with a passion for flowers, ceramics, design and vintage items. She has a background in interior design and has high styling skills. Nika makes sure learning seems easy and fun, and that you go back home with a bunch of new creative tools. For her, working and having fun is the same, and you can see it in her work!

She teaches ceramic, floral and collage art workshops and courses.
